{"id":909,"date":"2025-06-16T20:46:50","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T18:46:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amanitv.media\/?p=909"},"modified":"2025-06-16T20:49:23","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T18:49:23","slug":"human-rights-situation-in-the-drc-and-prospects-for-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amanitv.media\/?p=909&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Human rights situation in the DRC and prospects for peace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Under the aegis of the Rencontre Africaine pour la D\u00e9fense des Droits de l&#8217;Homme (RADDHO) and its partners: the Catholic International Education Office (OIEC), the World Organization against Torture<br>(OMCT), the R\u00e9seau de Formation et de Recherche sur les Migrations Africaines (REFORMAF), the African Centre for Democracy and Human Rights Studies (ACDHRS), a conference was held on the<br>sidelines of the 59th session of the Human Rights Council at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, on the human rights situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The aim of the meeting was to support the work of the fact-finding commission on the ongoing crisis in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
